Default what style cam is best for n/a

what cam puts out better all around hp. a normal or reverse split cam. this is for a n/a car will have gtp stg.II heads eventually. how much diffenence?

both traditionl, symetrical, and reverse split cams are putting out great power depending on your setup. theres often more then one way to reach the same goal.

true. i was looking at the tr230/224 or the tr230/236 which cuts it close with stock heads.

i had the 230, nice cam makes great up top power but i wanted more down low mid range so i traded it for a T1.

Rodney, its a TR236/230, not 230/236.

As for your question, it really depends on the setup and intended use of the car.

N/A the foward split cams have seemed to have better "under curve" numbers. Reverse split cams provide the driver with a cam that acts smaller for daily driving, but picks up in the upper RPM's. Personally I choose foward split because it provides awesome numbers up top and down low, and it is good if you ever want to spray or add a blower.

my bad that should put me around 415 until i can get some $$$ together for some heads. just hope that the lower end hold to those high revs.
