Default Patriots or should I save up for the AFR's?

What do I need for about 440 NA? Cam specs and heads?

full bolt on, m6 and a 230+ cam will get you there with some nice stg 2 heads. you'll need to give us more info though about your car and setup. the AFR's like the LSX arent out yet for independent dyno results.

The Patriot Stage 2 LQ-9 heads and a TSP 231/237 will get you 440 with all the proper bolt-ons. No one knows about the AFR's yet. No one has any to test.

do a search, the only ones doing 440+ consistantly are gtp and absolute speeds. Youll find all the big numbers with them. With the patriots you will find alot of guys that are a bit dissapointing

LOL.. I'm very dissapointed with my results I'm sure I would have been happy if I would have paid over $2,500 plus a core for some other heads and made the same or less power

I'm a big fan of the Patriots, I gained almost 45 rwhp with the 5.3's. Now I know I'm "only" making 403 rwhp, but to me it's a big jump from the stock heads.

The new ARE 4.8's seem to be working for me. You get what you pay for.
Tons of torque.

(b) will you EVER post your #'s
(b) do you EVER stop bashing sponsors
(c) will you EVER be able to see beyond your screen
(e) will you EVER post to a tech thread and share any usefull/personal knowledge other than what you've learned on your screen
(f) will you EVER gain any respect on this board....(I know the answer to that one....thanx anyway)

You need to do more research, I think you left off at least six other head porters that I know of.

Hit the nail on the head. I've been seeing more and more of this lately. It sucks, because in reality, he has ABSOLOUTLY no idea what he's taking about, it just stirs up ****. As if GTP and Absolout are the only ones making 440rwhp...what a dumbass comment. I laugh at you

Why is this jerkoff allowed to hang around bashing sponsor after sponsor? Does he even have a fast car or mods? Does he really have a car?

I'm waiting to see the results of the AFR heads. After that I'm gonna decide and justify if its gonna be worth the extra cost. Right now Texas Speed has killer deals on head/cam packages for like 2200.

Cant beat that.

My goal is to have a REALLY STRONG street car, the cam I want to run is the Comp Cam 224 with .581 lift on 114.

My car's an A4 and I already have a nice converter. Spring is right around the corner can't wait till she's running hard!

Im seeing alot of hate in this post . I would say if your goal is only 440 hp there is no need to spend the higher price on some AFR heads. I would pick up the ls6 style stage 2 or 3 heads. I see Joseph said these has some that high with the 5.3`s but I havent seen those yet . I have seen a handful of cars with the ls6 style heads make really nice #`s though. Hope that helps . I will not comment on any other heads in this post as there wre only 2 types in the title.

I should have some results with that cam and Patriot LS6/LQ9 59cc S2's in a week or so.
