hey guys, just got the motor back from the builder and in the freeze plug bag they gave me it had this little weird piece that i have NO CLUE WHERE IT GOES???

and i have a small half inch oldschool style freeze plug...where does that one go in?

It goes in the back of the block. Do a search for barbell plug.

and does the freeze plug go over it???

It goes behind the rear cover on the driver side of the engine to the left of the crank. I would go buy a new on as well they are 10$.

heres a pic, this galley runs from front to rear on the engine,this is the rear where the plug goes, without it the oil will flow straight through the engine and dump out to the rear cover and back into the pan!!the pic before shows a diaagram of the system http://www.turbols6.com/gallery/TYPHOON-LSX-TURBO/ayg

geez, thank alot for the help guys, i didnt want to put it all together an have no oil pressure...just gunna get a new one tomorrow
