AFR 62cc head with .040 head gasket = 11:1 CR Right? LS1
Guess i was a little late calling AFR today, could not get through. Is this right? I have stock pistons. For an 02LS1. Is there a chart? I have never found one on here.

I removed my original reply because I couldn't quickly find the typo. When I fixed the bore typo to 3.898, I get 11.35, which matches the calculator here: http://www.kb-silvolite.com/calc.php?action=comp

Reason is because, when i ordered my GM Head and Cam Install Kit I ordered it without the Head gaskets because AFR told me to go with .040 cometic? gasket for 11:1 and the speed shop did not have any in stock so i never got them. When I got my Install kit the guy ended putting in
GM# 12498544 Head Gaskets
and did not charge me for them (i checked)
So now Im putting this together in the garage thinking about using these head gaskets maybe.
I can't find any info on what CR I will get with this GM MLS head gasket on these afr 62cc heads (the 205's). Im not even sure what the thickness of the gasket is? Can anyone help? Could not get through to AFR today. Thanks...
Stock block deck height, stock pistons, stock everything down there.

I did not mind hearing 11:1, but i don't like hearing 11.15 to 11.35 going to be on a 96,000mi motor. Now im thinking my camshaft might start running into some P/V clearance issues. Comp Cams 222/224 .566/.568 lift. 112LSA. I was almost thinking 10.75 would be good to? Its not a race car. I drive it everyday in nice weather though.

Can anyone else help confirm this please
Genuine GM# 12498544 Head gaskets will make exactly 11:1 CR with these AFR 205's at 62cc's? I specifically asked AFR on the phone and he was all about the perfect 11:1 CR with that .040 gasket and 62cc head...
Thanks guys. Might end up putting here together tonight then...
