Default 5.3 for a miata. What cam?

I searched this forum, and came up with little, so i wandered over to performance trucks, and found the rule of thumb to be no bigger than a 224 type cam. But those are big trucks with autos. The miata will be sub 3k lbs, M6, and i want a sizable power increase. Any reccomendations?

Yeah, trucks aren't the same as cars in that aspect. You should have any more problems than your average f-body running any cam. I always say get a custom grind. Especially since you have something different than most. It may suit your needs much better than just buying a random cam.
