Default Anyone have a Cam for Sale??

my friend is looking for a new cam for his ls1 he purchased ls6 heads wit 5000 miles on them all assembled. he wants to use the heads as is wit the stock ls6 springs. he going to get a ls6 intake and throttle body. so i told him to look for a 228/232 .551 lift cam for his setup so he could use the stock springs. does anyone have a cam that he could use that will make him the amount of power the before mentioned cam will get him?

GM ASA cam. 226/236 .525/.525 on a 110. Sounds good, runs good, works with LS6 springs.

my friend bill has a 224/228 crane cam (lingenfelter spec'd I believe) I believe its on a 112lsa. would work with plenty of ptv clearance and stock pushrod length(he has 2 sets of pushrods for sale too. one unopened, the other used with the cam) the cam has about 3K miles on it. receipt and cam card too.

pm me if youre interested I'll forward it to him. maybe he'll check in on here before that happens anyways.

If your cam has more than .550 lift, don't even bother posting it.

you can get some comp918s or pac1218 for under $200 ,allowing you more cam choices.

It's the same as a stock cam from any LS1.

I told you already what your best option is going to be.

you want better springs... don't risk dropping a valve and ruining a good motor.

This guy may be selling his: https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...p-our-car.html

But seriously. Tell him not to be cheap and get a good set of beehive springs and hardened pushrods. We don't need to see another "My reverse split cam ate my springs for breakfast, WTF!!!!" thread floating around.
