Default torquer v2 question

Ok here's the deal. My friend bought a Torquer v2 from texas speed and I bought a cam of the EXACT same specifications from comp directly. The torquer is of comp xe-r lobes and so is my cam lol. Texas speed says operating range is 1800-6400 and comp says 2400-7200. who do we listen to? lol

Our operating range is rated at where the power starts and where the power peaks. The torquer v2 will peak power right at 6400-6500 rpm but can carry the power out a little bit above 7000 if the engine is revved that high. That may be how comp rates thier operating range, I am not sure.

I see. We dyno'd that car with the torquer and at 6750 the power still hadn't peaked. Ill see if I can get a copy of the dyno sheet and post it up.

Yeah lets take a look at that graph, that would be pretty crazy to see it peak that far out. What LSA are you guys running it on?

That what I was confused about , I can't tell but from what I can see on the dyno charts of different cams (but they almost have the same specs and close to Torquer2) that they peaked at 6800 or less .

I've read before that wider LSA get peaked at higher rpm (e.g. torquer2 with 114 lsa willpeak at higher rpm than 112 lsa ) correct me If I'm wrong .

BTW dude how does the Torquer2 act on the street ? forget about the dyno number.

Mine is on a M6 with Mac mids. It pulls hard up top. Pretty good street manners. Mine is on a 112. Little night idle action

Still looking for that dyno graph.

My car is untuned so it doesn't run the best haha. I'm running a 112 lsa and my friends is a 116. My car stalls at stops if I don't play with the gas.. nothing a good tune won't fix though.

But I was just curious about the peak because I want to up the redline and don't know what exactly I should put it to. I guess I'll just put it to 7500 and run it on a dyno once and see where it peaks and adjust it from there.

There are LOTS of dyno result threads about the TorquerV2, those are just the first two I found listed above with graphs...they peak right about 6400rpm or so consistantly.
