Default is there a way to know compression after an engine is built

i did a heads/cam swap a few weeks ago and was just curious if my compression went up at all. the only changes made that would change compression would be that i put some stock 799 heads on with MLS gaskets.

its no big deal if there is no way to know, i was just curious. thanks in advance

You went from a 66.6 cc chamber to a 65 cc chamber, and used the same thickness gaskets. You might have raised your compression by .2

Not that I know of.. just the graphites were on earlier years and the mls were later years. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but the LS1 never changed compression through the years.

I hear you! I hate scraping graphite gaskets off the block.
