Default forged internals

Here's my question. I need to replace one piston in my engine. I can get ahold of forged pistons and rods for around $700. I'd have to hone my engine. There's a bit of weight lose with each piston and rods. But is that a noticeable difference in a naturally aspirated engine. I might eventually go with forced in duction but not for a year or two.

You won't notice any differance in power from a forged piston vs a cast one. I would go with the forged rods and pistons and that way down the road it can handle what ever power added you want and not loose any sleep over it. May also want to consider a -2 to -4 cc relief in the piston so you dont have to worry about PTV clearance problems with a cam choice-N/A or forced induction.

I've heard it helps attain higher RPM because of the weight? Is this true? I don't think I'll stroke it, forged internals will already be doing way more than I initially wanted to do.
