Default Compression w/ Patriot Stage 3 LS6 heads on a stock bottomend?

I am curious to know what my compression ratio will be w/ the Patriot stage 3 LS6 heads. I am planning on running these heads with diamond pistons. Can I have these heads shaved to try and make up some compression due to the combustion chamber size? Help!!!!!!

I guess we do not have anyone on the forum to answer my question. I also want to know if this will be a good head to go with??

Patriot stage 3's have a 68cc chamber....if you are using a 3.905" bore with -2cc releifs in the diamond pistons and a .041" head gasket that would be 10.1:1 compression...if you shave .030" off the heads if would bring you to 10.65:1 assuming .007 per cc milling...Good luck,

Carter

.007 cc milling has thrown me off, what does this mean exactly. Thanks, Mike

On a stock bore,I would run a 2.055 / 1.57 valve. You can run this with a chamber as small as 59cc.This would give you over 11.2 comp.
