Default 408cid - 409cid

for the 409CI from the iron block, are they just .040 over instead of .030?

If I have this equation right then a 409 would be a 4.035 bore,

(Bore/2) squared, times Stroke, times # of Cylinders, times Pi

So a 4.0 crank would get these numbers,
Bore
4.000**** 402.12CID
4.030**** 408.18CID
4.035**** 409.19CID
4.040**** 410.21CID
4.060**** 414.28CID
Which looks about right to me.

ALSO:

(BORE x 3.14) x STROKE x 8 cylinders = Cubic Inches

This will be a LITTLE low because you rounded PI off
