prc ls6 flow a bit better not that much of a difference but the prc 5.3l are mil to 59 cc to up more compression should be 11:1 vs the ls6 64cc heads that should be 10:5:1

He is just talking about the LS6 heads.

Only difference is the valves. Stages usually do not refer to material removal...unless you are talking about a ricer. Then the stickers on the cars even have stages.

The valve size is the only difference....the Stage 2's get the 2.02"/1.57" valves whereas the Stage 1's have stock 2.00"/1.55" valves. I'd expect 5rwhp or so from the extra valve size/flow, all other things being uqual. The Stage 1's are popular for the MS4 combos and similar because we can set them up to retain stock valve drop (or even a couple thou better than stock)!

Yeah, Im going to get TSP ls6 heads stage 1 or hell even stage 2 heads. I had a conversation with patrick g and he said I could pick up 30-40 rwhp from switching heads than my 241s..

Definitely! We see those gains all the time from the PRC ported LS6's (and of course there are other nice ported LS6 castings, but I wouldn't be doing my job if I promoted them all the time, lol)!

^^^^^^^^^^Nope.

Unmilled the 5.3's start off around 62cc and after TSP's chamber work they are 63cc and a little change for about 10.7 CR. I had a set and cc'ed them after they were pulled them off.....

It is possible that they could have been milled to 59cc.

Well he called texas speed and they gave him a choice in cam with the purchase of his heads so hit went with the 228r cam and he didnt mil them he really dosnt know anything about anything when it comes to his car he just told me what they told him. My brother put his car together and I went to dyno it with him and it hit 432rwhp on a ls6 intake and stock 26pd inj. so I thought it was pretty good. LOL yeah but he dont even know how to change his oil..lol
