Default pistons hitting the counterweights

Had a customer bring in a 408 for a hone/re-ring, it was built elsewhere 5 years ago, the engine was making 520rwhp which seemed healthy. It lost compression in a cylinder, moly was missing off the top ring in that cylinder. Had the skirts moly coated as usual, upon assembly we noticed the skirts ever so slightly were hitting the counterweights. It left a slight mark on the pistons, moral of the story, always check counterweight clearance.
