Default will 243 heads affect needed timing advance?

just wondering if i install a set of 243 heads on my car if i need to have the timing backed off? last year i got a mail order tune by frost for full bolt-ons. this year im taking it one step further and installing un-ported 243 heads with slp 1.85 rockers. next year will be the cam and torque converter. just wanna know if the slight bump in compression with these new heads will require me to get the timing pulled back or if i could safely drive the car around until i get the air/fuel read?

Am running 28* of timing right now with 243's and I am running a 150 shot with that much timing.

so basically is it safe to say i can get the heads and rockers on, get to the dyno for my air/fuel readings, and then get the fresh tune based off of that?

just dont wanna blow the engine from pre-detonation

You'll be fine. The better combustion chambers in the 243 are going to help more than that compression bump hurt.
