LQ4 Timing ???
Hey guys I got a few questions in regards to timing/cam setup in my LQ4. First is in regards to the timing set I am about 85% sure I am gonna run an LS2 timing set (unless someone can come up with a real good "reason" not to, not just preference, please). Does any one know bout the timing tensioner setup on these (are there holes there, will I have to drill and tap, is it worth it, where to find one, it is an 01 block). What I have read bout them on the LS1's is that its more of a high rpm thing, I don't plan on shifting over 6500 and that rpm would be rare.
Second is can someone tell me or link to something that can tell me how to properly degree the cam in. I have a gt2-3 cam and plan on running bout 10lbs of boost and backed with a T56.
Any help is much appreciated.

Well, I thought you had a very good question. I guess others didnt or maybe just didnt know.
I'm in the process of building a LQ4 and was wondering about the LS2 timing tensioner.

Comp also has a lot of differnt iming chain sets, with a hex adjust or keyway adjust, or both. In both single and double roller chains.
