Worth going from B1 to tr224.
Looking for input.All mods in sig.Anybody got desktop dyno or have experience with such a swap. I got a chance to get a low mileage TR224 for about the same i can get out of my lunati cam.?This will be W/O tunning,and headers will come late fall.It will be a 114lsa also.Thanks, Tony

I agree though if you're gonna do a swap for more power, B1 to TR224 is almost a waste of time. Go bigger than the TR224....

I realize this is QUITE old, but I have a question.
Shouldn't the TR224 make more power "under the curve", compared to the B1? If not more power under the curve, then better driveability and better street manners?
The B1's got an AD of about 280*, right? Isn't the TR224 checking in around 274*?
Is it not all that big of a difference to a motor?
