Between the 2 your looking at around 5rwhp. Go bigger if you want more gains. I went to my TSP cam that has 574 lift and picked up a tenth and 1 mph over my B1 in worse air.

That's why I like it, it's perfect on the street, easy on valvetrain requiring little to no maintainence, and it make good power for what it is.

I agree though if you're gonna do a swap for more power, B1 to TR224 is almost a waste of time. Go bigger than the TR224....

I realize this is QUITE old, but I have a question.

Shouldn't the TR224 make more power "under the curve", compared to the B1? If not more power under the curve, then better driveability and better street manners?

The B1's got an AD of about 280*, right? Isn't the TR224 checking in around 274*?

Is it not all that big of a difference to a motor?
