I once read of a guy that had his LS6 intake ported, and he gained 12rwhp. I don't know if it was true or not, but that's what he said.

That being said, I bought a ported LS6 intake and noticed a nice difference, but I went from an LS1 intake.

hm, im down to hear more on this too. ive heard a few vendors will do it (dont advertise it) but it'd be nice to see a DIY on it, what to do for the best performance. if it gains 10hp. its not that cost effective to go to a fast 78 or 90/92...

Im interested in this as well. I have the LS6 intake with a Professional Products 85mm T/B and i was thinking of porting at least the intake to 85mm to fit the T/B without the adapter.

I would DEFINITELY open up the intake to 85mm so there's one less bottleneck (whether it be minimal or not)..

Also I was reading a website of a professional intake porter that comes on here. I cannot remember where/who it was, but they port LS3, LS7, intakes etc, and said they have seen no worthy gains porting an LS6 intake to justify the work done/money spent. It actually said no notable gains were found right on their website, but I imagine a TINY bit was made, hence not worth the money.
