93 octane always

Hard to say exactly where it's coming from...I would say engine but I guess it could be coming from the transmission close to the engine?

Any chance this sounds like a bunch of marbles shaking around in a glass
jar quickly (as per BWW's post)?

Actually that sounds pretty accurate. I'll try to take a vid here in a minute.

I obviously try to avoid this condition generally.

I'm guessing BWW3588 is correct.

You need to confirm that with a scan (look at spark timing), and or some
self tests like:

Try a lower gear and see if the rattle goes away. I'm assuming this happens
when cruising in 6th gear, or going up hills?
