rev limiter suggestions
So I am going to be tuning my car soon and wondering what you guys think I should set my rev limiter to. I have 4.56 gears so I want to be able to rev high to make the gear last a little longer. I have a Lingenfelter gt2-3 cam 207/220 .571/.578 cam and ls6 valve springs comp lifters and chromoly pushrods and arp rod bolts. what do you think it would be safe for me to pull my car up to? I know you want to stay within about 100-200 rpm above your power curve but just wondering what you guys think.

read this thread that should give you an idea of rev limiter and of springs. The LS6 springs are worthless around 6800 rpm

my cam is a 118.5 LSA. I havn't set the rev limiter higher than stock yet. When i did a dyno run at my friends shop it was still pulling hard up till redline at 6200. I was thinking around 6700 to 6800RPM would be ok.
