Anybody out there running a 02-03 ZO6 cam? I have a 2000 Z with all bolt-ons on my car and was wondering if this is a good street cam. Thanks!!

It's an ok cam if you want a little extra power but why leave power on the table? I've seen alot of guys put down 350-360rwhp with this cam..one even had heads. Gains are decent but a custom grind cam can get you quit a few more ponys. Think of it this way. Why do alot of Z06 guys trade out their cams for custom grinds?

Cam
What do you think will be the best cam for stock heads. I read that a lot of guys like the TR224, the TSP 231/237 or some of the MTI cams. I know that picking a cam is a give and take situation. Any suggestions on how you decided to go with what you did????

It was a good cam. Decent, about 380rwhp, choppy.
BUT, I wanted a mean sounding, lopey cam that turned heads and made great power while still being streetable. I also wanted this to be my last cam upgrade, and searched for a something that would work well with Stage II heads and possible stroker upgrade in the future. Therefore, the TSP231/237.
As for the springs argument... well, we've gotta change them, 222 or 237, .566 or .598, they've gotta come out sooner or later. Might as well maked the most of it. A little sooner than later is no problem in my book.

I heard that anything over 230 degrees of duration is to much for stock heads. The PTV clearance is minimal. How does the car drive? Do you have a good tune?

Car drives very well (it's my daily driver). Tune needed. Only hiccup is that the car needs to warm up just a bit to get going smoothly. P/V clearance fine on stock heads.
