connecting rod ?

what is the difference in the old style rods and the ls rods. say 6.125 rods. could they be used in a ls motor [old style rod that is.]

they can. rod journal is the same, as long as you have pistons with the smaller .927 SBC style wrist pins insted of the stock LS1 .945.

thanks beaflag, Offset verus on center rods. that was a good search. tried everything before on a search but couldnt come up with much.
