New cam install!!! Can it be driven?
just installed a new cam in my car. it runs fine except that it doesnt idle. is it safe to drive it around? should i do any restricting to my driving? i've heard not to bring the revs over 3000rpm. its a 230/237 .540.540 110lsa, and ls6 heads.
any advise is much appreciated.

Get it tuned.
In essence as long as your WOT tune has not been messed with it probably will be fine but getting it neither lean or rich is ideal, especially for part throttle.
IF AT WORSE, check out sponsors for a mail order tune to get it ball parked until you spend the 300-500$ for dyno time.

well i tell u what guys i hooked up a LM1 meter to one of the emission O2 holes. and driving around the air/fuel was good right in between 13.5-14.8 so i know the car is safe driving around, i know there is more things involved like timing and what not. and no i didnt get bigger injectors, i read that someone used stock injectors and made 425rwhp and his dudy curve was 98% so i figured i was safe.
