Default Crank Position Re-Learn??

Ok so I'm aware of this, and keep hearing from various folks that it should be done..and technically I fall under the catagory of those that need to do it since I put a new motor in my car with all new sensors as well.

My car runs great..what i'm wondering though is can someone tell me what negative things if any can/should/could/would happen if I don't get my hands on a techII and do the relearn..

Any info would be appreciated..just don't want the car losing power or anything over something stupid like this.

TIA.

The only thing I noticed with mine when I needed it done was that I would get a flashing SES below 2500. After the relearn, that went away.

It is not needed unless the car is stumbling and sets a code for the crank postion sensor.
