Question LS1 Rod style vs SBC style rod

any cons to using a SBC Rod in an LS1? i understand the offset is different. Any useful info?

Alot of people are using the SBC style rods with no problems. But they do put unequal load on the piston pin, which may lead to problems on high HP or mileage motors.

Exactly, the SBC big end doesnt center the rod on the pin perfectly. Ill see if I can dig the old thread back up.
