Default TSP Torquer V2 with stock 853 heads?

Is anyone running this cam with the stock 853 heads? If so, how happy are you with the results?

We have several customers running that cam with factory heads. With your basic supporting mods, that cam should pick up another 50+ HP over the factory LS1 camshaft. It will have a fairly aggressive idle but with a good tune, you shouldn't have any problem driving the car anywhere you want. Let me know if you have any questions about it or need any price quotes and we'll get you fixed up with anything you need!

How much will the heads affect the output of the cam? Is it worth the effort to install this cam with the factory heads? I'm possibly looking at the 228R cam as well.

I have this cam in my 6 speed with stock 853 heads and a stock ls1 intake and the car moves and pulls way harder then stock. The cam is great even with these stock parts holding it back some. It sounds great on a 112 lsa too. Street manners are pretty good as well but you will need a tune for sure. I made 390rwhp with this cam and bolt ons through the ls1 intake and 853 heads.
