I've got a Lunati Custom Grind, can't remember the specs, but I do know it's on a 117lsa. The car idles/sounds like stock, except for some excessive "sewing machine" noise up front. Rolling down the road, it doeso not buck, and has awesome manners. The car pulls like a turbo car in any gear..I'm already at 330rwtq at 2,800rpm. This cam is tying me over, until I build a motor, after 12-bolt with 4.10's, and I am SERIOUSLY considering re-using this cam, or one similar to it when I build my next motor. It's great seeing peoples expressions after you rape the ever living crap out of their heads/cam/blower mustangs that dyno a lot higher than yours, and you pull over and your car has a stock smooth idle. "what do I have done? full exhaust and bolt-on's"

The Lingenfelter GT2-3 cam is the king of stealth.

I haven't had a chance to hit the track yet. I'm still running the stock 3.42's out back, and won't up the gearing, until I get a 12-bolt. Playing around on the streets, I pulled a buddy of mines '98 z28 with a set of stage 2 heads, and a Speedtek F1 cam..he had true duals, longtubes, 4.10's, etc. Before he had his car tuned, it put down 370rwhp...not sure what it was after tune..but, when I raced him he had already been tuned. I'm figuring my car should be good for a 12.3-12.5 but it should trap around 115mph due to the 3.42's, it's kinda doggy out of the hole and I can't launch it, but it pulls like a turbo car..doesn't stop pulling.

another gt2-3 vote for stealth. its power is decieving though as like the ls6 cam its gains are more felt up top; 4500+. i'd look into something that'll give you power all under the curve and yet still be stealthy.

The LPE GT2-3 or the TR OMC or OMC2. The LPE has less lift, and is a bit less agressive on the ramps. The TR will have a more agressive lobe design on the intake side.

Here are some stealth to semi-stealth cams.

TR 224/227 .563/.569 114 LSA
TR Old man Cam 215/220 .600/.523 115 -2 LSA
TR Old Man Cam 2 215/220 .602/.602 115 -2 LSA
Comp cams 218/224 .527/.534 114 LSA
Cartek 218/222 .562/.562 113 LSA
Cartek 222/226 .567/.567 113 LSA
LPE GT1 218/229 .560/.560 113 LSA
LPE GT2 207/220 .573/.580 117.5 LSA
Futral FM6 226/230 .576/.580 114LSA
Futral FM7 224/230 .587/.593 114LSA
MTI B1 221/221 .558/.558 114 LSA
MTI Stealth 220/220 .581/.581 115 LSA
MTI Stealth 2 224/220 .581/.581 116 LSA

Here's my cam ... makes 380 (very close) through stock manifolds and cutout. At 6000 feet altitude, I ran a 12.9@108 that should be good for a high 11/low 12 at sealevel. I've attached the dynograph to go with this post.

BTW, it's a custom Comp Cam 216/216 .587/.587 114+2

I am running 7.6 in my car that is with the 3000 stall with a 2.1 str. I just uped the stall to a 3800 2.5str. I have a friend YYZ28 (scott) dont know if he is on this borad but is on ls1.com and Torquecentral.com he ran a 7.4?? on it. It is the sleeper from hell. No one can tell you have the cam.

This is untrue I felt the gain though the hole cure. I have a dyno of a Stock 03 Z06 (that means M6, ls6 intake, ls6 intake, had an ORY pipe) And my gt2-3 cam (FLP headers, lid, tb,ORY open, stock heads, A4.

I just purchased a used GT2 cam from LPE today, it spec'd at 205/212 - .540"/.540" lift, on a 116.5 LSA... am I correct to assume there are different versions of the GT2 cam?

I am hoping this cam will sound "stock", and make good power in a mild bolt on car that is daily driven roughly 300-400 miles per week.

MTI stealth 2 gets my vote. second place goes to the TR 220 on a 114 LSA.
My first cam was a 218/218 114 Comp Xe. Totally hidden with about an 800 - 850 rpm idle.

LPE's GT2-3 is probably the most stealthy (stock not stock like but stock) it's characteristics. It is also able to outstanding power for it's size.

As for stealth, the SLP dual/dual cat back does an outstanding job of toning down cams.

I think you still have a typo in the GT2-3 cam specs.
207/220 .571/.578 118.5 LSA. I got those numbers off of the printout that came with my cam. My car is in the shop having the cam, GMPP heads, and LPE longtube headers installed as I'm writing this. I'll post some dyno results in a couple weeks, when I get the car back.

So what would be the best "stealth" cam to get the most low end out of. I'm looking for street power.

I'm looking for low end torque, but stock like idle & drivability.
