Default Tsunami or MS3

Have a 2000 SS which will be getting heads/cam this winter, my question is which cam to go with, I am planning on buying the head/cam package from texas speed, the prc stage 2.5 5.3l heads. I have heard many good things about this stuff and this is going to be a budget build. Their combinations are budget friendly and have proven power. Do i go with the tsunami cam or the ms3. the car currently has the following mods:

Lt's, ory, cutout, gmmg
slp lid, p/p tb, ls6 intake
spec 3+
10 bolt, 410 gears with trickflow cover
plugs,wires, etc.
and all the other small stuff.

its time to get internal now, I am looking for 425-450 rwhp, will eventually upgrade to a fast intake/tb, but for now the ls6 is gonna do.

It is a street car that sees the track once or twice a year, just want more power.

What combo do I go with or any recommendations on another budget setup, thanks guys

get yourself a custom grind . best way to go hands down. Also you need to watch out for that 10bolt.

I just git a ms3 and stall and it is a huge improvement. Wish I could have afforded to get some heads but that will have to wait till later.

i'm leaning more towards the ms3, never heard anything bad about it and good power increases, and yeah the 10 bolt wont be seeing the track at all after the cam setup, wont last long with dr's

i have the tsunami, i love this cam. it sounds wicked and makes good power. it has more lift and thats sposed to give it better low midrange than the ms3. my vote gos for the tsunami, you wont regret it

Ms3, since you have 4.10s that will help, and also if your an auto get a good stall ,with heads should make pretty good power

I'm going to personally get the Torquer V.3 but I have heard that the MS4 is better than the MS3 all the way around from low end to top but out the two MS3.

i was in the same boat as you op. have same setup w an m6, and 373 gears in my 10 also. id have to say ive heard the same set up with the m3 and the tsunami and id have to go hands down tsunami. reminds me of an old school beefed up muscle car. tsp suggested the tsunami with the same prc heads. said for this setup it would make the best power. My dyno was 440hp and 418tq tune by rpm in garner nc.

I was gonna get the ms3,but I went with the ms4,if you were in a m6 I would say maybe get the ms4,but I think you'll be happy with the ms3,sounds good, good gains.are there any dyno charts that compare the ms3 and ms4? I would like to see how they match up,I know I wouldn't trade out the ms4 for anything, can't wait to spray it next year
