Default Are 918s enough for FM11?

Im going to be installing my FM11 hopefuly on Sunday. It will be replacing my TR 224 which I am running the 918 springs with. The specs on the new cam are 228/230 .580 .591 112. I was thinking it would be a good idea to run dual springs for this cam but Allen said the 918s are fine and thats what he recommends.

As long as things go as planned I will be getting heads this summer, so Im thinking the 918s would be fine untill I do the head swap. Car won't see a lot of high rpms, just occasionally.

You will be fine. Allan wouldnt sell you a cam and not suggest enough spring to support it...

FWIW, I have quite a few buddies running FMS cams on 918s with no issues..

I've got a 232/236 .595/.601 114+4lsa and running 918's. I got 15,000 miles on them and about to change them. Does that make you feel better?
