Default Anyone had Morgan Motorsports Stage 3 Heads?!?!

So I was cruisin around craigslist and found stage 3 Morgan Motorsports cylinder heads for $500.

http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/pts/2052042626.html

There's the ad. Anyone had any experience with them? Any issues or nice heads? Would there be anything in particular to check for when buying cylinder heads? They would be going with an EPS 234/246 cam with .602/.607 lift..would they help a lot or not be matched right for that cam?

I think their a old company that's out of business. With that being said their stage 3 is most likely for strokers and has a very larger out dated intake port and design. Bring a can of wd-40 and spray it into the intake side and exhaust and check to see how much comes out the valves, if its alot leave them alone if not offer him 450.

Thanks for the info. Would they be worth it with that cam on a stock internal ls1? Couldn't help but notice your list of cars, damnn I'm jealous haha. My last one was a 66 chevelle with a 383 stroker and a muncie 4 speed but I just needed something a little more reliable :/

Most of Morgan Motorsports head jobs were done by West Coast Cylinder Heads since both shops were within walking distance. West Coast puts out some quality work but I'd inspect them closely by someone knowledgable before buying.

Their good for the price. I have the MMS stage 2 heads with MMS 224 cam stock 346 bottom end, makes some ok power. I take it up to 6500 rpm.
