Default Reputable place to get stock 243 heads P&P

I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good place to get my stock heads ported. Anyone have good experience with a specific place? Any and all input is appreciated.

And also wanted to hear some opinions/advice on the application it will be going on. It will be a 347 ls1 with a 228r cam, long tubes, ls6 intake, ud pully. Would i see decent gains from the ported heads or am i better off saving my money and buying different ones. What about having them milled?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the kind words.

For the OP, I think the value of having high end work applied to the GM castings is unbeatable for most guys with mid 4XXrwhp goals. While we have aftermarket casting based ports that will show gains over what we can do with GM castings, you go from spending $700-1k to $2-3k pretty quickly.

I'd throw Precision Race Components into the pot a well! With CNC work on your 243 castings starting at $750, they offer a great bang for your buck!

Give us a call if we can help!

thanks for the info/reply's everyone

does it sound like a good plan to have these ported? or would saving up for different heads be better? would i see decent gains with the cam i have? my goal is to be somewhere near 450whp. Im not trying to build a race car or anything, the car is my DD that will see occasional track time.

Wow! It took that many posts for a TEA vote. Look at track results and dyno #ers on the board.
