Default Two piece timing cover question

Is it worth it to get a two piece timing cover when doing a cam swap? How much easier does this make swapping a cam later on?

A shitpotload easier as no pulling the balancer. I have never seen one used though and heard negative things about leaks and double roller TC clearance issues...

Sweet. Anyone on here running one or run one in the past? Would you recommend it or not?

pulling and installing the balancer is not that big of a deal as long as you have the right tools with that said i would spend that money somewhere else, i mean how often are you going to be swaping the cam

They are the biggest P O S you have to grind the inside to fit a stock single roller chain and oil pump and some need to be ground on the out side to clear the balancer pulley. Imo don't wast your time or money.

I cut my front cover and used silicone to seal the 2 pieces together.

Worked great n no leaks. However, since I'm running a LS2 block with the damn Timing Chain Dampner, all the **** had to come off anyway ! !

If your running a LS1 block, or no Dampner, a future cam change would be a piece a cake!

I kninda figure with this since you're already in for a penny you're in for a pound and pulling the balancer again isn't that big of a deal when you're already shelling out for a new cam etc. I guess I can save myself the money and having the edelbrock or whatever logo sitting on the front of my engine
