Has anyone used their rods or crankshafts? What do yall think of them? I was looking at some of the K1 rotating assemblies available for my LS1 build but am having a hard time finding reviews. Any info or opinions would be appreciated.

yeah k1 is owned by carrillo they make good stuff, I would buy a k1 over a scat or eagle. the k1 is comparable to the compstar crank from callies, but the dragonslayer and magnum callies cranks are up there with lunati and a few more.

Can someone tell me why they would choose, or have chose to go with K1 Technologies over a similar priced competitor like Callies?

I'm asking because I have read a lot about both. I see more and more people talking about them, but not many people sell them. Callies have success stories every where you look and it seems almost every vendor has them. According to the web sites I have looked at, they are within $50 of each other and the compstar rod weighs around 42 grams less.
