Default pushrod length question?

I'm currently using 7.425" pushrods and everything is working great. Now if I mill my heads .015" and use a .010" thinner gasket would that require a pushrod that is .025" shorter?

Depends on how much preload you want to run. Look up the recommened preload specifications for ur lifters and go from there. Less preload usually means less stress on the valvetrain at the cost of slightly more noise.

I am using low mileage stock lifters. What is the recommended pre load?

If you want to keep the same preload you had with your old setup, yes that is correct.
