Can i put 05 6.0 truck heads on a 97 5.7 Truck stock motor?

on a vortec 5.7 350ci truck motor? or an LS1?

NO. The LSx heads won't work on the old SBC. And in '97, all gas V8 trucks had SBC. The only '97 LSx was the 'vette.

You will need not just the old school SBC heads, but if using stock intake, you need old school sbc heads for the 4 (8 bolt total) bolt vortec intake.
