Default Lunati I-Beam Pro Mod Connecting Rods ??

I'm looking at buying a set of Lunati Pro-Mod I-Beam rods and was wondering if people have used these for FI applications, and if so, what power they held up to?

Do I need to clearance a stock LS1 block for a stock 3.622" stroke (due to the size of the big end)?

I have read that I-beams are not recommended for FI, but these are also Lunati (as if the name makes them stronger... or does it?).

We haven't run the Lunati I-beams but we have run the Callies I-beam rod in several big power boost combos and they work great! I believe they are rated to 1500 HP and a LOT cheaper than the Lunati. How much power are you looking at making? I'm sure both will be fine. Let me know if you're interested. We can get either one for you!

Hi Jon, really, my primary concern is whether or not I will need to clearance the block (or other components) when using a stock LS1 crank.

I am actually looking at buying a set of the Pro Mod rods that were probably very lightly used (and verified by a machine shop to meet Lunati specs). My original price range for connecting rods was $450-$500 and the SCAT 6612521A was the connecting rod that I was planning on buying, but I found a set of Lunati rods in this same price range and was wondering about the strength VS. the H-Beam SCAT 6612521A rods. I don't plan on ever making more than 800RWHP with this bottom end (closer to 600-700 max) and the motor will be NA for at least 1 year.

I think these rods are for a 4.00 crank.

I have run these rods with no issues at 1100 RWHP and would use these before running any of the Chinese made rods.

We now have our Ultra I beams (6.125) in stock for LS. FYI, if you are looking for a 100% American Made piece.
