Default Question about re using bolts????

Can the bolts for the timing cover,cam and oil pump be re used???

To my knowledge the only non-usable bolts are the torque to yield bolts. These include the head bolts and the harmonic balancer bolt. I'm pretty sure about this but maybe others may know differently.

yeah head bolts and the crank bolt are not reuseable. i reused my other bolts tho.

According to Gm there not, but I dont see why that is. Anything that not being stretched on moving parts like stated in post 6 can be reused.

Crank main bolts are torque to angle (not yield) and can be reused.
