and right now with the AS h/c for 1899 you cant beat that, no way i'd pay 2500 for the slp one. and not to mention the every day great price ( sounds like walmart) that TSP usually has, and the cam and valvetrain TR is having right now.

i like my horsepower for less money

Wow ... are you sponsored by SLP or something? Even the 12 bolt was bought through SLP.

Btw ... SLP over-estimates EVERYTHING, and charges too much for the same (if not inferior) parts. People who are new to f-bods generally buy SLP stuff since it's more like an original GM part, rather than an aftermarket part.

Show me almost any SLP part and I will show you an "aftermarket" one that does the same thing, for less money.

Hey, the guy asked about the SLP package. I have it and gave it a response. I use my car for the track. I have parts other than SLP: LG TA & Al PHB & radiator, Prospeed front brakes and some other nitnoid items to make the car go fast (Harland Stark RR, Fast Intake and something else I forget about now, but Sam Adams will remember)).

Since when do bragging rights eminate from where the part was purchased? I liked the service and the product. TByrne and many others sell the line. I'm satisfied and my car goes fast enough on a ten turn road course to keep up w/Nissan 350s, ZO6s and some 911. I'm happy when I go by and the spectators have their hands over their ears, lap after lap!

(Well, they are available from other vendors offering the SLP line. There's virtually no diff in price w/the Moser regardless of who the vendor is. That may have changed in the last several years, but was the case when I purchased mine.)

(The dyno was accurate. I understand the RWHP numbers may not be in the same ballpark as your car, but it gets the job done and if your sig is accurate, you won't be challenged by my car in the least.)

(Maybe so, but that's how the vast majority of vendors and sponsors get along: offering a choice.)

Regards
Steve

My friend has a 01 Firehawk with the old SLP 445 hp package. Only difference between the two is the 485 has a little bigger cam. And on a A4 with SLP lid, SLP LTs, and SLP Loudmouth with the 445 package pulled 400 hp 401 tq. Tuned by Speed Inc.
