Default 6.0 Questions

I picked up an early (04/2000 build) 2500 C Silverado with an iron headed 6.0 and a new 4L80-E today for a future GN swap. I know that early 6.0's were a little different than the later models, but not entirely sure and trying to search produced little to no answers.

Will the L92 heads and LS3 intake bolt right up to an early 6.0? I was originally planning a L92 with a carb and TH400 (with plenty of Nitrous) but since I got the entire truck for a steal I am now thinking of using the entire drive train vice just the short-block.

Thanks in advance!

yes the heads and intake will bolt up. the 2004 and earlier blocks are all the same. its the cranks that are different. the stroke and everything is identical but the lengths of the cranks were different pre 2000. so if u had one of those cranks u would just need a space to use with a t56 trans. but u should be ok with everything u have since its all in 1 work vehicle to begin with

edit- im talkin about 6.0 cranks specifically

I'd be interested in the iron heads if you're going to replace them.

Driver56 - I dont have a problem with that...it wouldn't be until I finish my tour in the sand box though, PM me if you can wait until Sept/Oct when I am back and can get everything apart.
