Default Should I change crank bearings on this LQ9 ?

I have a LQ9 out of a 03 Escalade with 90K miles on it.

It looks allot cleaner inside than my LS-1 with the spun rod bearing does.

Should I just change the rod bolts and go?

Or should I pull the crank out and have it inspected / polished and replace the bearings?

I just ordered The TSP PRC sage 2.5 243 heads today and I also ordered a custom grind from Geoff at EPS today.

Should I have the block inspected at the machine shop?

The cylinder walls look good to me I will post some pics tonight, that would help huh?

Should I re-ring it and have it honed, or should I just leave it alone and just change rod bolts and put it all together without pulling the crank?

My friend replaced bearings and rings, had a mechanic come in to clean up the cylinder walls. It had less miles than yours, I mean what do you use a truck engine for, to haul things. Take care of it now so you dont have to later.

^^^^Agreed! Mine only had 78,000 on it when I got it but I replaced everything, now is the time to do it while you have everything apart.

what is the best way to mark the pistons and rods so I don't get them mixed up?
