Don't know your location, but the OBDII test in Ga. is now a plug and play for codes. No sniffer. As long as you're not throwing any, and aren't showing any not ready codes you "should" be ok. I'm not running that big a stick but passed OBDII emissions w/flying colores. Good luck!

No Sniffer?
Well that is good news for me. But whats going to happen if the tech thats doing the test decides (since the car is loaping like crazy) to stick me with the sniffer!!

They won't do that. If the inspectors were given the right to be suspicious, then we'd all be doomed.
You'll be fine. I'd post up in the TEXAS forum and see if there is a friendly shop in your area.

Dont worry about it. Just make sure that u dont have any codes and you'll be fine. A friend of mine with a big bore motor made it fine, the tech didnt even blink, just said his car sounded bad *** and slapped the sticker on the window. Id be more worried about the price we are paying now! JP

Houston is OBDII. The tech doesn't have the option to put you on a sniffer. They have to do and OBDII. As long as the computer is happy, then you pass. I have known folks with big cams, they drive in, and get a sticker, no issues. As long as you don't have "not ready" in the computer, you are fine.

BTW - How do you like the cam? Does it sound good? I'm thinking about going with it.

And i dont even have headers, heads, or ls6 intake. Just swaped the cam, springs, and rods.
Thanks for all the info on the OBDII, and i agree with Camarocain...sorry for the possible complications.
