Default Im sure this has been asked 1000 times.

How much power will the stock LS1 crank hold? Im talkin about going out to the track and racing and not worrying about it.

Also the same question for the stock rods.

The crank is good for about 1,000 HP. I do not know what the consensus is for rods, but I would be looking for different rods at about 600 HP (depends in part on rpm) which is where the stock pistons reportedly become marginal.

^^^^agree on the rods, I would not take the crank past 750, but that's just me.

We have never been able to break a stock crank from power. I know there are multiple cars running around 900+ rwhp on a stock crank. The stock rods are a different story, they will only hold about 600 rwhp.
