Default Using hardened valve seats with beehive springs?

I know you have to use hardened valve seats with the drop-in dual springs, but is there any problem using them with 918s?

Valve seats or spring seats. I think you mean spring seats. Your stock heads use hardened spring seats from the factory. Since it looks like you have a 02, your spring seat and valve guide seal will be the one piece design instead of separate spring seats/valve guides like on 97-01 LS1s.

You have to use hardened spring seats on any aluminum head.

I *think* you guys are missing his question. I noticed you're going back to stock. Are you asking if you can use 918's with the spring seats designed for dual springs??

If that's your question, the answer is no. The seat is what locates the spring. You need to use a stock seat with the 918's.

Yeah, sorry, spring seats is what I was talking about. I have Rev duals on the car now, and was thinking they might not work with stock or any beehive spring. Alright, thanks!
