Default seafoam question

i know how to do it. just need to know if i should do it before i change my oil. its got about 2000 miles on it or more, stop and go traffic driving probly. pretty dark oil, should i seafoam it with new oil or old?

From what I understand it's best to do it before changing the oil, yeah, because it's gonna thin out the oil and you don't want to run long on it like that. Or at least, you're going to want to change it either way afterward. But I haven't read anything specifically about whether the quality of current oil affects the seafoam, but I wouldn't think 2k miles on it is going to make it 'bad'. When I was researching this the first time, people just seemed to say 'do it before changing the oil'. For what it's worth, I seafoamed mine and ran it about 100 miles then got the oil changed...

yes do it before. I think the can says you can drive up to 200 miles on it. I just let it idle and drive around the block until it stops smoking then change.
