Default is this normal??

i started rippen my engine apart for the new cam and fast intake. when i took the ls6 intake off there was a little oil in the runners.

yep....thats actually really clean compared to many engines I have seen. The oil is mostly comming into the intake by way of the PCV system. In addition to that, some oil leaks past the rings/valve stems on stock engines (mass production quality) and gets worked up the intake port at low RPM.

ie: don't worry about it....just wipe it out and keep going

You need to get a catch can in your PCV system. It really helped mine!

My runners were way filthier than that when I cahnged my intake and there was only 10,000 mi on the car at the time. You'll be fine...

Yes we do. Post'em up. I'm going to be doing the LS6 pcv conversion soon. I want to know what to expect.
