Default Heads & Cam

Im abt to go ahead and pick up some heads & cam! Ive ran the polluter cam before and was pleased! Now on my new car im wanting to see around 450-500 wheel horsepower just wondering what combination you guys would suggest! I plan down the rd to spray as well! I will have the supporting mods (intake, headers, etc...) im jw what heads & cam people is making good power with! BTW this is a 2000 ls1 6spd!

The 2.5 PRC LS6 heads are on sale right now from Texas Speed. $1,524.99

They also sell the Trick Flow 215's. $2,379.99

You could buy trick flow 220's for about the same price as the PRC's and have them ported later on if you don't have the $$ right now.

Those are both good head options.however the tfs heads need aftermarket rockers and the Prc heads can use stock rocker arms. Figure that into your budget if go with the tfs heads
