224/224 114

Try using the search, there are about 200 questions that are basically what you just asked word for word. You will find a TON of info and opinions.

as stated, the 224 114 is a great cam, it'll never be like stock but tuned should be very streetable. and thats all providing your setup for it properly with your intake and exhaust completed.

I have the intake taken care of, but still need to do the headers and y pipe for the exhaust. For now though I figure that the cutout that I have will help me on that issue for the time being. It seems that everyone is pointing in the same direction for the most part. I think that is the way I will go. Thanks guys.

get the headers; preferably long tubes first. then get the cam.

I have the TR224 114 cam with QTP LT's; very streetable combo that performs very well. Just remember, PCM tuning is an essential ingredient.

MTI X1...Jayson can tune the dog snot out of that came. specs are 230/227 .591/.571 112 Very streetable cam...drove it to work 40 miles one way on my A4 and still got 20+ mpg. Give Jaysone @ MTi a call and tell'em Kris Josey reccommedend u to him...he MIGHT not off 50 bux or so....but DAMN that cam pulled. Put me and Raughammer in the 10's with stg 2 MTI heads.....

Easy killer, he doesn't even have headers yet

When you ask a question like this, you're gonna get answers all over the board.

I mean, some people have no problem driving a car with a 230+ duration cam every day.

I really think that the TR224 cam and the pacesetter LT's are the way I will go. All I need to do now is save up some more money!
