Default bouncing oil presure gauge

so is this normal, i broke the oil sending unit putting an LS6 intake on and replace it, ever since then the oil gauge will bounce at idle, but it only does it sometimes and not all the time. did compression test and got between 209 and 198psi through out all cylinders, is there anything wrong or does this happen sometimes. now it is probably about 20% of the time it will do this and it will only do it at idle, any suggestions?

Did you check the connection at the sensor?? Did you remove a ground wire during your intake swap?? Id check those two things.

what would be a common ground wire to knock off or remove and not put back in place with an intake swap?

Just trying to help. I dont know how you did your intake swap. Maybe you relocated some lines or something. If you prefer next time I wont offer my thoughts to you.

Ever since I've had my '99, when it warms up, the damn oil pressure will only go up slightly as RPMs raise, and once I back off the throttle, the OP will jump up a good 10-12lbs and then come back down... weird...
