Default t rex cam what do you guys think of it

planning on putting a t rex cam in my ta what do you guys think of it. what power does it make. how well does it wrk with stock heads. if i were to upgrade heads what would you rec. thanks

Its a massive cam that's for sure,and I run a ms4 in my 99 ss m6,if your gonna run this cam I would fly cut no matter what anyone tells you,also rod bolts would be a good idea ,your gonna have to spin it really high,also need a very tall gear,4.30s or higher,it makes a lot of peak power for just a cam ,I have seen guys claim around 435,its really what your building your car for,if its pretty much just a race car its not a bad choice,but if its mostly a street car I would go with something else,any one that is gonna give you advice on this cam needs to know a lot more about the car,your goals,m6 or auto etc,

you are running the magic stick 4 cam what nubers didi you get from it. can i use that cam with stock heads. my car is a street car with ocassnal track. its a 01 ws6speed ls6 intake and headders and full echust slp intake. do you like the ms4. whare did you get it. i hear you can get 80hp out of it. thanks.

I would do the compcam trunnion bearing upgrade.and make sure your valve train geo. is correct.look at the big EPS cam,better lobes.

^^^ talk to Geoff at EPS, he was behind/helped design the Trex cam when he was at thunder iirc..
