Will everything from 853 heads swap right over to LS6 heads?

im not sure of the size of the valves but as far as rockers and springs etc yes

Cool! Anyone else know? Do I need special tools to swap over the springs etc.?

you would need a spring compressor tool. It is almost easier to just buy assembled heads

if the valve lengths are the same.you can get a spring tool from TSP.
