Here is my flow numbers, what do you think?
Hi I have a 383 with a fast 102 intake and tb with lt headers and a set of 241 heads. My situation is I can't decide if I should ditch the 241s and go with another aftermarket head. I'm not sure if it would be worth it bang for the buck or not because I haven't seen any flow numbers that are better than mine with a 241 casting. Not bragging cause it's just a 241 I just want to know from some of you guys that have more experience with these types of things and get your opinions on it so here it goes
In. Ex.
.200. 146.4. 127.4
.300. 217.3. 157.5
.400. 259.7. 188.5
.500. 282.4. 204.4
.600. 294.6. 217.8
.700. 304.1. 224.2
The car also has a ms3 cam. And no track times yet I was just wondering if it would be worth upgrading or not to a different head and I believe my heads have stock sized valves with a 5 angle valve job

Let me answer your question by asking you this...Are you looking for max effort heads? An aftermarket casting will be more than a marginal difference. The market is getting better by the day for aftermaket heads. You have a variety to chose from and customize for your cam choice. AFR, PRC, MAST....just to name a few. I would opt for a Mamofied set of AFR's for my next go 'round.
Your numbers are decent. Where did you have them done?

They were ported by russle hunt from Elgin Tennessee. He is not a big name but does good work, he is currently leasing us 43 dragstrip. And I just looked at my paper work and they were flowed at 28 inches of water whatever that means ha! But if there is a 40 hp that is still there with a aftermarket head that means I'm going to have to come up with a way to explain another 2k dollar investment to my fiancé...... Any ideas?

Rule of thumb when things are matched nicely is 1.5 HP per cfm increase in power....IF your intake and TB do not become the restriction...which in your case and power level, they will not be a restriction.

Don't expect 500 through a 346/a4 on a plastic IM. Snap out it..... Second a ported FAST 92 flows about 280 max so there is your restriction... Not sure what a 102 flows but not much more... Yes you can pick up HP from better heads but most of it will be from heads that flow more at lower lifts....
If you can fit a vic junior/super vic you can get 40+ but the powerband will be moved significantly higher in the rpm range so you need to prioritize your intended usage if one will fit...
